[00:00:02] This is a Bramble Jam Podcast
[00:00:12] It's the Christmas Morning Podcast
[00:00:14] Everyone join if you can
[00:00:18] Christmas greatest fans
[00:00:22] Scotty and Bram
[00:00:23] Here for you and me
[00:00:25] Well, welcome to another episode of Christmas Morning
[00:00:29] It's Thursday, everybody
[00:00:30] No, it's not a mistake
[00:00:31] We've gone daily
[00:00:34] Very excited to be here on a Thursday
[00:00:36] I'm Bram and I am here
[00:00:37] Per usual with my buddy Scotty
[00:00:39] Scotty, Merry Christmas, pal
[00:00:41] Merry Christmas, Bram
[00:00:42] We're only in our fourth day of daily episodes
[00:00:45] But I'm already loving it
[00:00:46] I'm in the groove
[00:00:47] And we're firing on all cylinders here, I would say
[00:00:50] We mentioned that it always takes a couple days
[00:00:52] To feel like we're hitting our stride
[00:00:54] And I feel like we've done it
[00:00:56] Last episode felt real good
[00:00:59] Let's see if we can continue that
[00:01:00] We've got to get right into the mailbag
[00:01:02] Because I've got a really long email here
[00:01:04] Okay, hit me
[00:01:04] Letters
[00:01:05] We get letters
[00:01:07] We get stacks and stacks of letters
[00:01:11] Alright, this email is from Fred
[00:01:13] And it's a little on the longer side
[00:01:14] So I'm going to try to read it faster, okay?
[00:01:16] Do it
[00:01:16] Alright, hey Brandon Scott
[00:01:17] I have not done my due diligence
[00:01:19] And gone to see the new Christmas horror movie
[00:01:21] Terrifier 3
[00:01:22] But if you are at all squeamish about gore
[00:01:25] You may not enjoy these movies
[00:01:27] Warning audiences against seeing a horror movie
[00:01:29] Because it's too intense
[00:01:31] Is nothing new
[00:01:31] William Castle was using that as a marketing tool
[00:01:34] Back in the 50s
[00:01:35] But Terrifier and Terrifier 2
[00:01:37] Did contain a crazy amount of very elaborate
[00:01:39] Blood and guts effects
[00:01:40] It's actually not scary
[00:01:42] It's over the top
[00:01:43] It veers into Monty Python territory
[00:01:45] Oh, that's kind of funny
[00:01:46] And can't be taken really seriously
[00:01:48] I almost saw it on Halloween night, Scotty
[00:01:50] I thought about going out and seeing it
[00:01:52] As like a transitional movie
[00:01:53] But then I read about some of the kills
[00:01:55] And there was one kill in particular
[00:01:57] That I just was like
[00:01:59] I have no interest in watching this
[00:02:01] So, but I know there's a
[00:02:03] There's, yeah
[00:02:04] There's people out there that love it
[00:02:05] But Fred says
[00:02:05] If it's not your thing
[00:02:06] You may want to steer clear
[00:02:07] On the more family-friendly
[00:02:09] Christmas Halloween front
[00:02:10] I went to see the Nightmare Before Christmas
[00:02:12] Light Trail
[00:02:12] At the New York Botanical Gardens
[00:02:14] And it was wonderful
[00:02:16] My two-year-old was thrilled
[00:02:18] To see Life Size Jack
[00:02:19] Sally
[00:02:20] Oogie Boogie
[00:02:21] And both the Halloween
[00:02:22] And Christmas atmosphere
[00:02:23] Were in full immersive effect
[00:02:25] Since then
[00:02:26] I've taken the family
[00:02:27] To a number of Halloween events
[00:02:28] In the nearby village
[00:02:29] Of Sleepy Hollow, New York
[00:02:30] It's possibly America's
[00:02:32] Number one Halloween tourist decoration
[00:02:34] Although that could be
[00:02:35] Salem, Massachusetts
[00:02:36] But for purposes of this show
[00:02:37] It's also worth pointing out
[00:02:39] That it has an important place
[00:02:40] In the history of Christmas
[00:02:41] In America
[00:02:42] Despite what certain movie titles
[00:02:44] May suggest
[00:02:45] The moniker of
[00:02:46] The Man Who Invented Christmas
[00:02:48] Could easily be attributed
[00:02:50] To Washington Irving
[00:02:51] His short story collection
[00:02:53] The Sketchbook of Jeffrey Cran
[00:02:55] Contained The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
[00:02:56] Which he says
[00:02:58] Is America's first
[00:02:59] Great horror story
[00:03:00] As well as
[00:03:01] Four stories about Christmas
[00:03:02] Irving was the first
[00:03:03] Great American writer
[00:03:04] And the first to be read
[00:03:05] Or taken seriously
[00:03:06] Outside of America
[00:03:07] He and Dickens
[00:03:09] Had sort of a friendly rivalry
[00:03:10] And Irving's stories
[00:03:11] Detailing old English
[00:03:12] Christmas customs
[00:03:13] Were a direct influence
[00:03:15] On A Christmas Carol
[00:03:16] And he was also the first
[00:03:17] To describe St. Nicholas
[00:03:18] Flying through the air
[00:03:19] In a wagon
[00:03:20] As a means of delivering presents
[00:03:21] The wild popularity
[00:03:23] Of Washington Irving's writing
[00:03:25] Reignited an interest
[00:03:26] In the holiday
[00:03:27] Which had actually been
[00:03:28] Banned by law
[00:03:28] In parts of the country
[00:03:29] Previously
[00:03:30] Due to being celebrated
[00:03:31] By excessive drinking
[00:03:33] And devolving into
[00:03:34] Fighting and destruction
[00:03:35] As opposed to
[00:03:36] The gift giving
[00:03:37] Feasting
[00:03:37] Singing
[00:03:38] And merriment
[00:03:39] That Irving described
[00:03:40] After Halloween
[00:03:42] Much of the scenery
[00:03:43] In and around
[00:03:43] The village of Sleepy Hollow
[00:03:44] In the town of Tarrytown
[00:03:45] Transforms from spooky
[00:03:47] To festive
[00:03:48] And Washington Irving's
[00:03:50] Sunnyside estate
[00:03:51] In Tarrytown
[00:03:52] And many of the other
[00:03:53] Historic locations
[00:03:54] Sust a number of
[00:03:55] Old-fashioned Christmas
[00:03:57] Decor and events
[00:03:58] Anyway, look forward
[00:03:59] To the Halloween evening show
[00:04:00] And the daily
[00:04:01] Christmas morning episodes
[00:04:02] And appreciate
[00:04:02] The acknowledgement
[00:04:03] Of those of us
[00:04:04] Who bridge the gap
[00:04:05] Between the two holidays
[00:04:06] Thank you, Fred
[00:04:07] Fantastic
[00:04:08] Hopefully you enjoyed
[00:04:09] The episode
[00:04:09] The Halloween evening episode
[00:04:11] I mean
[00:04:11] We've gotten some
[00:04:12] Good feedback from it
[00:04:13] I don't
[00:04:14] Yearly tradition
[00:04:15] Maybe, Scotty
[00:04:16] I don't know
[00:04:16] Sounds neat
[00:04:17] That was awesome
[00:04:18] That was awesome
[00:04:19] I don't have
[00:04:20] I don't have any reviews
[00:04:21] So
[00:04:22] Well, let's eat something then
[00:04:23] Oh, let's eat something
[00:04:24] Now, Scotty
[00:04:25] I have sent you
[00:04:27] The
[00:04:28] It looks like
[00:04:29] It was
[00:04:30] It mint humbugs
[00:04:31] Is that what you have?
[00:04:32] That's what it says
[00:04:33] Now this
[00:04:34] It looked like it said
[00:04:35] It says
[00:04:36] No artificial
[00:04:37] Artificial colors
[00:04:38] With a U, obviously
[00:04:39] Or flavors
[00:04:40] With a U, obviously
[00:04:42] It's mint humbug
[00:04:43] My guess, Scotty
[00:04:45] In looking at it
[00:04:46] For people at home
[00:04:46] That have never had
[00:04:48] A mint humbug
[00:04:49] I'm thinking
[00:04:50] It's some sort of
[00:04:51] Mint chocolates
[00:04:52] Because it's brown
[00:04:53] It's got some
[00:04:55] Stripes
[00:04:55] Yeah, that's what I thought
[00:04:57] But I'm starting to get
[00:04:58] The impression
[00:04:58] That's not the case here
[00:05:00] I think it's just brown
[00:05:01] Because there are no
[00:05:01] Artificial colors
[00:05:02] Does that sound right to you?
[00:05:03] Oh, I see
[00:05:05] Okay
[00:05:05] So is it just
[00:05:06] Is it just a mint then?
[00:05:08] Is it just mint?
[00:05:09] Let me unwrap it
[00:05:10] And try it here
[00:05:12] That tastes like
[00:05:13] A starlight mint
[00:05:14] It does
[00:05:15] Okay
[00:05:16] It is trippy though
[00:05:17] That it's brown
[00:05:18] It's throwing me for a loop
[00:05:19] Because, you know
[00:05:20] You're so used to
[00:05:21] The idea of
[00:05:23] Red and white
[00:05:24] Being peppermints
[00:05:25] Because of those
[00:05:26] Little mint candies
[00:05:27] And the candy candy
[00:05:28] And whatnot
[00:05:28] So
[00:05:29] The color is a little
[00:05:30] Off-putting
[00:05:30] But the flavor is great
[00:05:31] And now you get
[00:05:33] The benefit of hearing
[00:05:34] It click around
[00:05:34] My teeth like this
[00:05:37] Did you like that, Brian?
[00:05:38] I did
[00:05:39] Now, I am nervous
[00:05:41] About this next try
[00:05:44] They're called
[00:05:45] Eccles Cakes
[00:05:46] E-C-C-L-E-S
[00:05:47] Cakes
[00:05:48] The reason why
[00:05:49] I'm going to try it
[00:05:50] Is because
[00:05:51] Right below it
[00:05:52] In big bold text
[00:05:53] It says
[00:05:54] Containing pure butter
[00:05:56] I like all those words
[00:05:57] If I see those words
[00:05:59] On a package
[00:05:59] Now, I'm not trying these
[00:06:01] You didn't send these
[00:06:02] Because opening them up
[00:06:03] And divvying it
[00:06:04] Would probably have
[00:06:05] Made them stale
[00:06:06] You're going to have
[00:06:07] To let me know
[00:06:07] How these are
[00:06:08] I'm going to hand
[00:06:09] Half of this to Brian
[00:06:11] Okay
[00:06:11] Who's in the office
[00:06:12] He's at the North Pole
[00:06:14] With me today
[00:06:14] He came up here
[00:06:15] Because he's a baker
[00:06:16] Looking at this, Brian
[00:06:18] It does
[00:06:19] In the middle of it
[00:06:20] Scotty
[00:06:21] Can you see this
[00:06:21] On the camera?
[00:06:22] It kind of looks
[00:06:22] Like raisins
[00:06:23] It looks exactly
[00:06:25] Like a mince pie
[00:06:25] To me
[00:06:26] Is that what that is?
[00:06:27] They're delicious
[00:06:28] Okay
[00:06:29] I've never had a mince pie
[00:06:30] Mince pie has
[00:06:31] A little bit of a
[00:06:32] Like a fig newton
[00:06:33] Kind of flavor
[00:06:34] That's butter
[00:06:35] That's butter
[00:06:36] Yeah, it does taste
[00:06:37] Like a fig newton
[00:06:38] What did Brian think?
[00:06:39] It was good
[00:06:39] Brian, what did you think?
[00:06:42] That was good
[00:06:43] That was good
[00:06:44] There you go
[00:06:44] We got a seal of approval
[00:06:46] From Brian and Bran
[00:06:47] On that one
[00:06:48] Reminds me that
[00:06:49] Boy, I need to go over
[00:06:50] To World Market
[00:06:51] And get some mince pies
[00:06:52] There you go
[00:06:52] Now you know
[00:06:53] You should really try them
[00:06:54] This year, Bran
[00:06:55] Okay
[00:06:55] Because if you liked that
[00:06:56] It's basically the same thing
[00:06:58] It's like a gooey
[00:06:59] Raisiny, figgy
[00:07:00] Kind of thing
[00:07:01] Yeah, yeah
[00:07:02] It's good
[00:07:03] Eccles Cakes
[00:07:04] I guess is what
[00:07:04] They call them over there
[00:07:05] Eccles Cakes
[00:07:06] Alright, thank you
[00:07:07] Jill and Xavier
[00:07:08] Hey, do you
[00:07:09] Do you have a joke for us?
[00:07:10] Yeah, I'm still trying
[00:07:11] To eat this mint
[00:07:12] Uh-huh
[00:07:12] It's not going well
[00:07:13] Over here
[00:07:14] Yeah, it's great
[00:07:14] Okay, I got the
[00:07:15] I got the joke ready
[00:07:16] Where did the mistletoe
[00:07:17] Go to become famous?
[00:07:19] Oh, man
[00:07:20] I mean
[00:07:21] On top of
[00:07:22] On top of a door?
[00:07:24] I don't know
[00:07:24] I thought you were
[00:07:25] Going to get this one
[00:07:26] It's Hollywood
[00:07:27] Ah
[00:07:29] It's Hollywood
[00:07:30] That's not bad
[00:07:32] Part and parcel
[00:07:32] With the rest of them
[00:07:33] This week
[00:07:33] Not so great
[00:07:34] They all come from
[00:07:35] The Pioneer Woman
[00:07:36] Though
[00:07:36] Shout out to the Pioneer Woman
[00:07:38] You're out there crushing it
[00:07:38] It's as if I picked
[00:07:39] All five jokes at once
[00:07:41] No
[00:07:41] No
[00:07:42] No
[00:07:43] Impossible
[00:07:44] Uh, you want to count down?
[00:07:45] Yeah
[00:07:55] Yes
[00:07:56] 48
[00:07:57] Hey, hey, hey
[00:07:58] 48
[00:07:59] That's crazy
[00:08:00] Now that we're under 50
[00:08:02] I just don't know
[00:08:03] What to do with the number anymore
[00:08:04] Now
[00:08:04] It's like, huh
[00:08:08] Yeah, sometimes you start
[00:08:09] Descendants and you say
[00:08:10] Now that we're under 50
[00:08:11] Well, that's the thing
[00:08:12] Like, now that we're under 50
[00:08:13] I don't know what to do
[00:08:14] Nor do I know what to say, I guess
[00:08:16] What do we even do?
[00:08:17] Yeah, man
[00:08:18] It is crazy to think
[00:08:19] That we're
[00:08:19] We just started daily
[00:08:22] This week
[00:08:22] And we're already under 50
[00:08:24] It's shocking
[00:08:25] It is shocking
[00:08:25] How's that meant?
[00:08:26] I'm trying to power
[00:08:27] You don't have to finish it
[00:08:29] On the air
[00:08:29] You don't have to finish it
[00:08:30] Oh, I didn't think of that
[00:08:32] Oh, I still have the wrapper
[00:08:33] Okay, yeah
[00:08:34] Good
[00:08:34] Good thing
[00:08:34] Once you read the news
[00:08:35] While I find a way to spit out this mint
[00:08:37] It's good
[00:08:37] I got you
[00:08:38] But it's not
[00:08:39] Good for podcasting
[00:08:41] I got you
[00:08:41] Alright, here's the news
[00:08:48] Today is Thursday, November 7th
[00:08:52] Here's the news
[00:08:54] Scotty, do you know about
[00:08:55] Tony's chocolate?
[00:08:57] I am not familiar with
[00:08:58] Tony or his chocolate
[00:08:59] Tony makes a good pizza
[00:09:00] At Sam's Club
[00:09:01] I know that
[00:09:01] Well, there you go
[00:09:02] But Tony's chocolate
[00:09:03] Has kind of been
[00:09:05] On the rise
[00:09:07] At least here
[00:09:08] In America
[00:09:09] Because
[00:09:09] Of the fact that
[00:09:11] They are
[00:09:11] Ethically sourcing
[00:09:13] Where they get their chocolate from
[00:09:14] Now, I don't want to get
[00:09:15] Everybody to be sad
[00:09:17] But Hershey's
[00:09:18] Maybe not
[00:09:19] On the up and up
[00:09:21] When it comes to where
[00:09:22] They get their
[00:09:23] Chocolate beans
[00:09:24] And how they're paying the farmers
[00:09:25] Are you saying it's blood chocolate?
[00:09:26] It might be blood chocolate
[00:09:27] Guys
[00:09:28] Okay
[00:09:28] I don't want to
[00:09:29] Bum people out too much
[00:09:30] I know we're all eating
[00:09:31] Our kids Halloween candy still
[00:09:34] But Tony's
[00:09:35] Actually
[00:09:35] They
[00:09:36] They try really hard
[00:09:38] To make sure that they know
[00:09:38] Where the chocolate beans
[00:09:40] Are coming from
[00:09:41] And make sure that the people
[00:09:42] That are harvesting these beans
[00:09:43] Are in
[00:09:44] Quality working conditions
[00:09:46] And making sure that they're
[00:09:47] Earning a fair wage
[00:09:48] For the work that they're doing
[00:09:49] Which is wonderful
[00:09:50] Which is one of the reasons
[00:09:51] Why they have been
[00:09:51] On the rise here
[00:09:52] In America
[00:09:53] Now, apparently
[00:09:54] Tony's
[00:09:54] At least in the UK
[00:09:56] Is releasing a new
[00:09:57] Milk chocolate gingerbread bar
[00:10:01] Which sounds
[00:10:03] Wonderful
[00:10:04] I might add
[00:10:05] Wonderful
[00:10:07] This is
[00:10:08] As far as I can see
[00:10:09] Only available
[00:10:11] In the UK
[00:10:12] As of right now
[00:10:12] It is
[00:10:14] Tony's chocolate
[00:10:15] Gingerbread
[00:10:16] Christmas version
[00:10:18] Which is
[00:10:19] It just
[00:10:19] Even the wrapper
[00:10:21] Is wonderful
[00:10:22] They have the chocolate
[00:10:23] Cut into the
[00:10:25] The shape of a Christmas tree
[00:10:26] On the wrapper
[00:10:27] It's wonderful
[00:10:28] And so
[00:10:29] It's very cool
[00:10:30] Oh Scotty
[00:10:31] Scotty
[00:10:32] I gotta send you
[00:10:33] A picture of this
[00:10:34] The chocolate itself
[00:10:36] You know how
[00:10:37] Like a Hershey's bar
[00:10:39] Is cut into a bunch
[00:10:40] Of little squares
[00:10:40] And what not
[00:10:41] Yeah yeah
[00:10:41] So Tony's
[00:10:43] They have
[00:10:43] Like a bunch
[00:10:44] Of random shapes
[00:10:45] But the shapes
[00:10:47] In the middle of it
[00:10:48] Is a large Christmas tree
[00:10:50] So you snap the chocolate
[00:10:51] Around the Christmas tree
[00:10:52] Stop selling
[00:10:53] And the chocolate
[00:10:55] Christmas tree
[00:10:55] In the middle
[00:10:56] Has a hole in the middle
[00:10:57] So I guess you could
[00:10:58] Hang a ribbon around it
[00:10:59] And put it on a Christmas tree
[00:11:01] Maybe wear it around your neck
[00:11:02] For a long day's work
[00:11:04] If you need some chocolate
[00:11:06] As you
[00:11:06] Go about your business
[00:11:09] Very intrigued
[00:11:10] By the Tony's
[00:11:12] UK
[00:11:12] I've heard things like this
[00:11:14] Brand
[00:11:14] This was never a tradition
[00:11:15] We had in my family
[00:11:17] But
[00:11:18] It would be like
[00:11:19] When you hang candy canes
[00:11:20] On the tree
[00:11:20] You also hang chocolates
[00:11:22] On the tree
[00:11:22] And then on Christmas day
[00:11:23] You get to eat them
[00:11:24] I don't know how I feel
[00:11:26] About hanging chocolate
[00:11:27] Unwrapped
[00:11:28] On a tree
[00:11:28] Oh you're talking
[00:11:29] About unwrapped
[00:11:30] Yes
[00:11:30] I was thinking wrapped
[00:11:31] Yeah I don't think
[00:11:32] No
[00:11:33] I think with the amount
[00:11:34] Of dust
[00:11:35] Around
[00:11:36] I don't really want
[00:11:36] That all over my chocolate
[00:11:37] I'm sending you
[00:11:38] The link right now
[00:11:39] To the actual
[00:11:40] Tony's page
[00:11:40] Where you'll get a
[00:11:41] Okay
[00:11:42] This might change
[00:11:42] Your mind Scotty
[00:11:43] Look
[00:11:43] Seeing this
[00:11:44] Makes me want
[00:11:45] To do this
[00:11:45] It makes me want
[00:11:46] To hang this
[00:11:47] Tony's chocolate
[00:11:48] Christmas tree
[00:11:48] On my tree
[00:11:49] Alright
[00:11:50] I'm opening the link
[00:11:51] Right now
[00:11:51] It looks great
[00:11:52] Looks wonderful
[00:11:53] Oh this is really cool
[00:11:55] What a cool website
[00:11:56] I know
[00:11:56] And then scroll down
[00:11:57] To where it's just
[00:11:57] The chocolate bar itself
[00:11:59] Oh look at that
[00:12:00] That is so cool
[00:12:01] I know
[00:12:03] If someone
[00:12:04] Maybe this will
[00:12:05] Make their way over
[00:12:06] If not
[00:12:07] I know we have
[00:12:07] Some listeners over there
[00:12:08] If they wouldn't mind
[00:12:10] Securing a milk chocolate
[00:12:12] Gingerbread bar
[00:12:12] From Tony's
[00:12:13] And sending it over
[00:12:14] I'd love to get my hands on it
[00:12:15] Even if it's after
[00:12:16] The holiday season
[00:12:17] I'd just love to
[00:12:18] Wait until they're on sale
[00:12:19] Yeah that's right
[00:12:20] Send a bunch
[00:12:21] I actually love the shape
[00:12:23] It's very cool
[00:12:24] Isn't it
[00:12:24] This is really
[00:12:25] Really cool
[00:12:26] You know what
[00:12:27] We won't have this
[00:12:28] In chocolate form
[00:12:29] For the holidays
[00:12:30] But I could probably
[00:12:32] Make this out of wood
[00:12:33] And put it on my tree
[00:12:35] And then I wouldn't
[00:12:36] Have to worry about it
[00:12:36] Like going stale
[00:12:37] I just love this shape
[00:12:39] It's so festive
[00:12:40] And like a little
[00:12:41] Seussical
[00:12:42] A little wonky
[00:12:42] I love it
[00:12:43] I know
[00:12:44] I know
[00:12:44] It's very cool
[00:12:45] My only concern
[00:12:46] With doing that
[00:12:47] Scotty
[00:12:47] Would be
[00:12:48] You'd have somebody
[00:12:48] Over at your house
[00:12:49] And they'd think
[00:12:50] It's chocolate
[00:12:50] And then they'd bite into it
[00:12:51] Oh it would be a hot disaster
[00:12:53] That's a trip to the hospital
[00:12:54] But you know
[00:12:54] Okay
[00:12:55] It's the price you pay
[00:12:56] For Christmas decorations
[00:12:57] Sometimes
[00:12:58] You know
[00:12:59] That's what we always say
[00:13:00] That's right
[00:13:00] Let's take a quick break
[00:13:01] And we're going to come back
[00:13:02] And we're going to get to
[00:13:02] The TV listings
[00:13:03] And the music battle
[00:13:04] Here on Christmas morning
[00:13:10] Welcome back everybody
[00:13:12] It is Thursday

[00:14:53] Thanks TV Scotty
[00:14:54] It is time for the Christmas music battle
[00:14:56] It is Thursday
[00:14:58] And we are battling
[00:15:00] Santa Claus
[00:15:01] Is Coming to Town
[00:15:03] Yesterday we had Frosty
[00:15:05] Which is
[00:15:05] You know
[00:15:06] Some I consider
[00:15:06] A kiddie song
[00:15:07] And now we got
[00:15:07] Santa Claus
[00:15:08] Coming to Town
[00:15:09] Another one of those songs
[00:15:10] That often like
[00:15:11] Kids love to listen to
[00:15:13] Yesterday we had
[00:15:14] Two rock and roll
[00:15:15] Versions of Frosty
[00:15:16] So I'm intrigued
[00:15:17] To see what we can find
[00:15:18] With
[00:15:19] Santa Claus
[00:15:20] Is Coming to Town
[00:15:20] Are you ready to dive in Scotty?
[00:15:22] Yeah let's do it
[00:15:22] Up first we have a version by
[00:15:25] Mad Robots
[00:15:27] You better watch out
[00:15:28] You better not cry
[00:15:30] You better not fall
[00:15:32] Than telling you why
[00:15:34] Santa Claus
[00:15:36] Is Coming to Town
[00:15:41] He's making a list
[00:15:43] And taking it twice
[00:15:45] He's gonna find out
[00:15:47] Who's naughty and nice
[00:15:49] Santa Claus
[00:15:50] Is Coming to Town
[00:15:53] You better watch out
[00:16:12] You better not cry
[00:16:14] You better not fall
[00:16:16] I'm telling you why
[00:16:18] Santa Claus
[00:16:20] Is Coming to Town
[00:16:24] That had a little bit of a
[00:16:26] Chugging acoustic guitar to it
[00:16:29] I liked that
[00:16:30] It did
[00:16:31] I was also
[00:16:32] Picking up on a little
[00:16:33] Accent there
[00:16:34] I went to the band camp
[00:16:35] I thought it might be
[00:16:36] A little bit British
[00:16:36] Spain apparently
[00:16:38] Is where Mad Robot is from
[00:16:40] So there you go
[00:16:41] Oh very cool
[00:16:42] Up next we have
[00:16:43] Santa Claus is Coming to Town
[00:16:44] By Oxford
[00:16:45] Out of the Blue
[00:16:46] Santa Claus
[00:16:48] You better watch out
[00:16:49] Santa Claus is coming
[00:16:53] You better watch out
[00:16:54] You better not cry
[00:16:56] You better not fall
[00:16:57] I'm telling you
[00:17:51] My gosh
[00:17:52] Come on
[00:17:53] Do we even need to put a voting link
[00:17:55] Out for this one
[00:17:56] Oh my goodness
[00:17:58] I mean don't say it
[00:17:59] You never know
[00:18:00] We've had some surprises
[00:18:02] In the past
[00:18:02] We've had surprises
[00:18:04] But that's not going to be
[00:18:06] A November surprise
[00:18:07] For us
[00:18:08] I gotta be honest with you Scotty
[00:18:10] There's not a lot of things
[00:18:11] That you can count on
[00:18:13] But one thing you can count on
[00:18:15] Is the acapella song
[00:18:16] Winning a Christmas music battle
[00:18:18] Almost always
[00:18:19] I mean I'd be interested
[00:18:20] To go back and see
[00:18:21] What the actual percentage
[00:18:23] There is
[00:18:23] But there is a chance
[00:18:24] It's 100% success rate
[00:18:25] When it comes to the acapellas
[00:18:27] That is
[00:18:27] Very good
[00:18:28] That was phenomenal
[00:18:28] Very good
[00:18:29] Oxford out of the blue
[00:18:30] I didn't know what to expect
[00:18:32] With a group name like that
[00:18:33] So I was surprised
[00:18:34] By the acapella
[00:18:35] Oxford out of the blue
[00:18:36] Yeah I had no idea
[00:18:37] Guess what everybody
[00:18:38] We're gonna be back tomorrow
[00:18:39] It is gonna be
[00:18:39] Instrumental Fridays
[00:18:42] For the rest of the year
[00:18:43] Brian's pumped
[00:18:44] He just started cheering
[00:18:46] Thank god I brought him
[00:18:47] You came back to the North Pole
[00:18:47] I know
[00:18:47] Thank god I brought him
[00:18:48] Back here today
[00:18:50] It's been wonderful
[00:18:51] Let's be done
[00:18:52] Let's be done
[00:18:53] Let's enjoy our day
[00:18:54] And let's come back
[00:18:55] For some more Christmas
[00:18:57] Spirit tomorrow Scotty
[00:18:58] That sounds great though
[00:18:59] So until then
[00:19:00] Merry Christmas
[00:19:01] Merry Christmas
[00:19:12] You're about to hear some ads
[00:19:13] That help pay for our trip
[00:19:14] Back and forth
[00:19:15] To the North Pole
[00:19:16] Feel free to listen
[00:19:17] Feel free to bail now
[00:19:18] But either way
[00:19:19] Thanks for being here
[00:19:20] Ho ho ho
[00:19:21] Ho ho ho ho
[00:19:22] Oh ho ho ho
