[00:00:02] [SPEAKER_03] This is a Bramble Jam Podcast
[00:00:12] [SPEAKER_05] I'm from the North Pole, it's time for Christmas Morning, the daily show where every day is Christmas. Here are your hosts, Bran and...
[00:00:33] [SPEAKER_03] Well, well, well, hello everybody and Merry Christmas to you. Welcome to another episode of Christmas Morning. It is great to be here. It's great to be living in October and it's great to be back with my buddy Scott.
[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_04] Scott, Merry Christmas to you. Merry Christmas, Brandon. I have breaking news. I am cozy, finally. Yeah, you're cozy? Is it a nice temperature out there? No, the temperature isn't that great yet. It's starting to get down, but just in general. Yeah? I'm wearing a hoodie. I'm seeing fall colors. I'm going to all the stores. I'm seeing the things. I'm drinking the fall beverages. I'm just starting to finally feel cozy.
[00:01:11] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, I tell you what. When you start feeling cozy, it starts feeling a whole lot more like Christmas. Absolutely. And that brings us to more breaking news, Scotty, which is if you want to really feel cozy as we head into the fall time, there's no other, in my opinion, better way to feel cozy than with a Kringle in your hand. And, Scotty, you've got to experience a Kringle. And is it safe to say your life has been changed forever?
[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_04] Yes, we have a title sponsor, which is absolutely wonderful. I could not be more ecstatic about it. It's perfect for a diabetic like me. It's a Racine Danish Kringle. That's right. Now, ethically, I absolutely vow and swear that I would not endorse a product that I didn't wholeheartedly believe in. I had never had one. I heard from you guys that, yeah, these things are yummy. And they sent a care package. And I opened that thing up with my family. Yeah.
[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_04] And we started tearing into it like the cookie monster. There was Kringle flying everywhere. I can tell you, 100% honestly, I have never had a Danish this good before. Yeah, it's good. We used to get Entenmann's Danish when we were little and they were very bready. These are not bready. Not bready. And my wife does not like the flavor of butter. I married her anyway, but they're made with margarine.
[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_04] She was very nervous. She's like, I don't think I'm going to like this and took a bite. She was like, oh, hold the phone door is here. We got a big change. So I've been eating little tiny bits. Nobody worry about my health. It's fine. He's going to be okay. Everybody should go enjoy them. But oh my goodness, my favorite right now is cherry.
[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_03] Ooh, all right. A cherry boy. There's a lot of flavors. So many. You can try as many as you want to. We're going to help make that easier for you. 10% off the entire site this month with the promo code CMOCT26. That's Christmas morning, October 26th, but just CMOCT26. And we'll be talking about it all holiday season long, giving you different promo codes, different goodies, special promo codes for specific products depending on the week.
[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_03] So stay tuned, but go try some. Grab a couple, 10% off. Find what you like, like what you love. And I'm pumped about this partnership, Scotty.
[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_04] I am too. And thank you to Racine Danish Kringles for helping spread the joy and the love. Help make this show possible. We could not be more happy about that.
[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_03] Absolutely. That's Kringle.com. Permacode C-M-O-C-T-26. Now let's open up with a mailbag. Let's do it.
[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_02] Letters. We get letters. We get stacks and stacks of letters.
[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_04] The first email is from our friend Cassie. And Cassie says, hey, Christmas morning crew. It's Cassie. I have very exciting news. We are booked for the Polar Express this year.
[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_03] Oh, yeah.
[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_04] We're going to be riding in the second car on the train. Last year, we rode in the first car, the very first one next to the engine. And next year around November, if everything goes well, we will be going to Disney World in Florida. So, Cassie, I'm going to want full info dump when you come back from it. I want to hear all about this, especially the Polar Express. That's so much fun. Cassie is our official Polar Express rider.
[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_03] That's right. You know what I would like, Cassie, if it's at all possible? Whip out that voice memo app while on the train and give us an on the train update. I want to hear the sounds of the train. I want to hear your thoughts in real time of what it's like on there. If it works out, that'd be wonderful. We'd love to hear from it. But either way, we're very excited for you.
[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_04] Thank you, Cassie. I have an email from Jill and Xavier in the UK. Jill says, quick one. In England, Hart Xmas started playing Christmas music on the 29th of September. I've attached a link for you to listen. Now, Jill sent the link. We can't listen to it outside of the UK brand, unfortunately. I tried. I even, you know, it says put in your postal code. And I was like, well, this is easy. I'll just look up a UK postal code. And it was like, no, I don't think so. Smart guy. But thank you, Jill.
[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_04] If you guys are in the UK, you should definitely look that up. I'd like to know what it's about. I really wanted to hear British commercials, but not meant to be.
[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_03] You know what? I bet if you have yourself a VPN, I bet you could spoof it.
[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_04] So good to hear from you, Jill. I have an email from Ernie Delisanti. Ernie says, hey, Scott and Brian, I had to go shopping this week alone and was actually able to stop and get these pictures of my BJs in Costco. And I included the photos here for you, Brian. These are the BJs pictures. And we haven't seen these yet. So it's always exciting to see another store's Christmas. We are connoisseurs of this. Absolutely. There's some cute stuff there. Something that almost looks like a kitty cat ornaments. Those are really cute. Yeah.
[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_03] So cute. What's going on here? What's going on there with the fabric ones? What is that? That is so nice. Knit holiday shelf setters is what they're called.
[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_04] I like those. Those are nice. Thank you for sending that, Ernie. I have an email from Weekend Woodworking. Oh, good. And he says, good morning, Christmas morning, friends. As you can see, the trees are up at Walmart. They're not lit yet, but they're definitely up. This was a week ago, and I have a feeling by now they're lit. Wouldn't that be a grand tree lighting to watch? Ornaments have been trickling onto the shelves for the past two weeks, and now they're fully stocked. I went into my Walmart and took a tour of the tree area. They were all on. Really? Yeah.
[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_03] I went to one this past weekend. Not my normal Walmart, though. It was just one that was good.
[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_04] Oh, you were on a vacation?
[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_03] It was, anyway, it was out of town. But it was not, it was not this. They did not have all the trees up. They just had a couple of shelves with stuff. So they're falling behind, and I'll call them out. The Walmart in Powdersville? Step it up, guys.
[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_04] I went to Michael's this week to pick up something and just happened to walk by the section. Halloween is a distant memory, and it hasn't even happened yet. They had the trees up. They were lit, and it was great.
[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_03] This is, I will say, as someone who also likes Halloween, we can have both. There's enough shelf space to where we can have both. Give the Christmas people a little bit, a little something to hold them over. Still do the Halloween. I think you can, I think we have the shelf space to make this work.
[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_04] I'm also fine, even as a Christmas lover, to let Halloween be the primary until, you know, the actual Halloween.
[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_03] We're not monsters. No, of course not. You know what? I put some outdoor decorations up this past weekend for Halloween.
[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_04] Oh, I didn't hear Dan complain about it. That's amazing.
[00:07:53] [SPEAKER_03] Well, coincidentally, yeah, whatever.
[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_04] I have an email from Christmas Katie. Katie says, Merry Christmas to the entire Christmas morning family. I know we've seen the pictures from Lowe's and Costco, but I haven't seen anything yet from my favorite store. Barnes & Noble is already looking pretty Christmassy. My local store has the usual Advent calendars, cards, and puzzles. So many puzzles. But they also had something new this year. I saw four romances sold as a countdown to Christmas Advent romance. They have the books separated into 24 chapters and you read one per day.
[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_04] While I love a good romance, I'm not patient enough to only read one chapter a day, so I won't be getting one, but it's a cool concept. Hopefully they will have other genres as well. I've attached pictures, but people should go to their local Barnes & Noble, especially if, like me, you don't have an independent bookstore nearby. Check out their Christmas stuff and start shopping now. I did not go into Barnes & Noble. There are two more stores that I haven't been in yet. One is Barnes & Noble and the other is World Market. They're about a half mile from each other in Denver. So I'm looking forward to that.
[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_04] I love a bookstore. I love the smell of a bookstore. I love a bookstore at Christmas. I will still walk around and look at the little, you know, like the books for two and three-year-olds. And these pictures look great. I can't wait to go in. So I'm going to make a day of it very soon. As you should. And I like that idea of the Advent book.
[00:09:15] [SPEAKER_03] I just found out about this last week and I actually sent a screenshot of another post I saw independently about Advent Christmas romances. And I sent it to Brian, who's the writer around here. And I was like, this is an interesting idea. Let's explore it. So I'm intrigued by it. Yeah. It's very fun.
[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_04] I love that idea. Definitely. Very fun idea. Loop me in on that one. I want to be involved. I am currently listening to your upcoming book. Not going to give anything away, but I'm enjoying it so far. I got an advanced copy. Coming out in a couple of weeks. Good stuff. And then finally, I have an email from Craig, the Christmas guy. Craig says, good afternoon, chaps. I'm heading across the pond from merry old England to the big city, New York at the end of October. And I wanted to know if there'll be any Christmas lurking around the big apple at that time of year.
[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_04] I've asked on my Instagram page and I got a few tips, but you guys are the big guns with the Christmas context. So that's right. We're the big guns. So if any of your listeners have festive tips for my trip, it would be much appreciated. Now, I'll be honest. I don't know what's going to be happening at the end of October, beginning of November in New York City. I know the Rockefeller tree is not going to be up. I'd be surprised if you didn't see a bunch of shops and stuff. But if any listeners have ideas, write in. Let us know.
[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_04] We want to make sure Craig's trip is fantastic.
[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. I wonder when the Rockettes start their Christmas thing. I bet that's out there. It's probably early November would be my guess. Probably. You might be out of luck there. Yeah. Unfortunately, Scotty, that one great review we had last week and we were feeling all good about ourselves and whatnot. Yeah.
[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_04] Not for long.
[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_03] Not for long. No. We're back to nothing new, but we are still at 316 and that reminds me of John 316. Exactly.
[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_04] With the wrestling guy.
[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_03] That's exactly right. Yes. Steve Austin, 360.
[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_04] Thank you.
[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_03] Let's get to a joke though. I need a joke. I need to laugh, Scotty, and maybe you can help me out.
[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_04] Okay. Well, listener Benjamin Race sent in a one-liner, so I adapted it into an actual joke.
[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_03] Okay. A one-liner.
[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_04] No, no. I adapted it to a question-answer joke. Okay. A two-liner. All right. Why does Santa keep a tissue box next to the milk and cookies? I have no idea. Because at this time of year, he gets Santa-mental.
[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_06] Waka, waka.
[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_04] It's not the first Santa-mental joke we've had either, but...
[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_03] Eating all the cookies and milk, he just starts crying.
[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_04] Hey, if you can do better, you send in a joke. Christmasmorningpodcast at gmail.com.
[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_03] That's exactly right. You're not getting anything from me, buddy. I'm just here for the ride. I'm loving this. This is great. Well, let's see the countdown.
[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_02] 79 days into Christmas! Dan's pumped over there.
[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_04] I'm sure he is. I'm pumped to see the number seven at the beginning. That's pretty cool. Absolutely. You saw it, Bray, and I sent you pictures. I built myself a digital Christmas countdown clock this year, and I've been... Yeah. It's very festive, and it's very, you know, woodworking and stuff, and I love it.
[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_03] Weekend woodworking isn't the only weekend woodworker around here.
[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_04] That's right. Nights and weekends. That's right. So, that's only 11 weeks from now, and I should mention, we're not doing the October 1st countdown anymore because it is October, everybody. We finally made it. How about that? And just like we promised, there's Christmas everywhere, and it's the beginning of October. Couldn't be happier about that.
[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_03] Absolutely. Speaking of Christmas everywhere, I've got some news for you.
[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_02] Today is October 7th, 2026. Here's the news.
[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_03] Big news out there, Scotty, from the Starbucks. This, I feel like, is an early announcement from them. Usually, I feel like it's closer to November when they announce this, but they have announced their festive lineup this year, which is landing in Starbucks nationwide, worldwide. I don't know. On November. Galaxy-wide. On November 5th. November 5th, you're going to be able to get these festive beverages, and of course,
[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_03] that includes the favorites, peppermint mocha, the caramel brulee latte, the sugar cookie latte, the gingerbread chai, but we also have some newcomers. Some newcomers. Okay. We've got a, what's this? A tiramisu velvet. I love tiramisu.
[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_04] Oh, my goodness.
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_03] So, I don't really know what a velvet is. Probably red. Oh, okay. A tiramisu velvet latte, which can be ordered hot or iced, or a tiramisu velvet cold brew. Both finished with velvet mascarpone. Is that how you would say that?
[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_04] Mascarpone. Mascarpone. Mascarpone. Mascarpone is a cheese. It's like a very soft cream cheese with more flavor.
[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_03] Oh, interesting. Cold foam on top. And cocoa and coffee dusting. That sounds delightful. They also have the apple pomegranate refresher. Is an apple a holiday? Why not? It's fall, you know? I mean, it's still November, right? It's before Thanksgiving. Sure. It is a bright and refreshing pick-me-up. I'm picked up. It's got apple flavors and pomegranate flavored pearls. Have you had those pearls at the bottom of beverages?
[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_04] No, that sounds like the thing that the kids like. What is that called? Yeah. You know what I'm talking about? With the balls at the bottom. With the balls at the bottom. I don't need it. I don't need it. It's my life. I'm a purist. I like my drinks to be liquid.
[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, I don't like that. I don't like that at all. Let's see what else we got. A couple of savory warm sandwiches are going to be debuting. Oh, the pictures looked amazing. I know. The pictures did look good. A braised short rib grilled cheese and the turkey and stuffing with a fresh recipe. I don't hate that last one.
[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_04] Ah, yeah. Did they put cranberry on it? Everyone seems to do that. They make a Thanksgiving sandwich. Not for Scotty.
[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, and then if you remember last year, Scotty, there was much ado about the bear that they unveiled. Do you remember that bear?
[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_04] I do remember, yeah.
[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_03] They started throwing that bear on all sorts of stuff.
[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_04] The bear is everywhere. The bear is everywhere. There was a mug with embossed bears on it that looked kind of cute, but it wasn't really Christmassy, unfortunately.
[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_03] Yes, I don't know what the deal is with that. But anyway, a couple of new beverages, a couple of new snacks. But of course, your favorites will be back starting on November 5th. And Red Cup Day, which is where you can get a free red cup. That is still happening, but they have not revealed the date for that. You better believe we'll keep you posted.
[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_04] Now, you know what we do in my house? You know, sometimes they'll double cup it if they don't have the sleeve or if you ask for it. You take the second cup that didn't get dirty and we save it. And then we put it in the cabinet. And then later on in like June, we can pull out a Christmas cup. How about that? And that's fun. And you probably know this about me, Brian. I worked at Starbucks for seven years, all through college and after. And we served peppermint mochas year round.
[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_03] You still can get one year round. I do it every once in a while.
[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_04] No, it doesn't come in a Christmas cup, but it's not super Christmassy. I can tell you that working at Starbucks was one of the things that absolutely cemented my love of Christmas. I was the only barista who liked listening to the Christmas music and stocking the shelves with all the Christmas stuff. I have so many fond memories of that. It was a wonderful time. It was a different Starbucks event too and, you know, stuff. Stuff.
[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_03] I get a peppermint mocha every marathon day to kind of get me ready for, because that's mid-October. They don't have the red cups yet, but just the taste of it, Scotty. I'll send you one. All right. Let's take a break and we'll come back. We'll get to the TV listings and the Christmas music battle results and this week's battle of, have you heard about this one? Santa Claus is coming to town here on Christmas morning. Welcome back, everybody.
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_03] It's great to be here today. We are in October. The TV is perhaps beginning to turn our way? Not quite yet.
[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_04] We've got the usual fare, though. There's some things on. If you want a little sprinkle while you're eating your Kringle, we've got it for you. Really good rhyme. I like that. Yeah. I'm a regular Dr. Seuss over here.
[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_03] Promo code CMOSYT2.
[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_04] So here is your Christmas TV Minute, courtesy of MostlyChristmas.com. Wednesday, 9 p.m. on WE, NCIS, False Witness, and 10 p.m. on USA, 911, Merry Xmas. Finally, Friday, 2 a.m. on Nick at Night, Friends, The One with Christmas in Tulsa. 3.30 a.m. on TBS, The Office, Christmas Wishes.
[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_04] 9.36 a.m., that's a strange time, on BET, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Christmas Show. 5.30 p.m. on Aspire, Family Time, Christmas Beyond the Walls. 6 p.m. on Hallmark Family, Memories of Christmas from back in 2018. 6 p.m. on Hallmark, My Grown-Up Christmas List. 7 p.m. on GetTV, Monk, Mr. Monk and the Miracle. 8 p.m. on Hallmark Family, Road to Christmas from 2018. And finally, 8 p.m. on Hallmark, Checking It Twice. And that was your Christmas TV Minute, courtesy of MostlyChristmas.com.
[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_03] Thank you, TV Scotty. All right, let's get to last week's Christmas music battle results. It was the instrumental battle. Things are very tight around here in regard to the scoring, which we'll get to in just a second. And they got tighter. I'll spoil it. Let's see who came in last place, third place, if you will, with 25% of the vote. This was The Angels We Have Heard on High by Kevin Minthe.
[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_04] It was just brought by me. This was the Timu Mannheim Steamroller. But I love Tim Mannheim Steamroller. It sounds exactly like it to me.
[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_03] The intro sounded like he was just kind of like, kind of like hit the keyboard.
[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_04] But 25% of the vote, a little weak. But I'm only one vote behind the second place.
[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_03] That's true, with 26%, 27% of the vote, wonderful Christmas time by The Lonesome Bones. I think that this would have perhaps won if it was just a smidge faster, Scotty.
[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_04] I love Christmas lo-fi. I do, too. I'm fully listening to lo-fi while I work. But this was brought to us by listener Drew Basek. And the album art on this one is so great. It's like Skeletor sitting by the fire. And it's fantastic.
[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_03] So really enjoyed it. Big fan. But that means that your boy, Bran, won 48% of the vote Christmas Waltz by three different people. You got Bruno, you got Daveed, and you got Nicola out there with this one. This is a great version. Yeah, I was surprised this one won, especially by that much. But I'll take it.
[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah. Another one where it's a product of the others not being as good, I think. And this one has a nice universal appeal. I love Christmas cocktail jazz, and that's kind of what I would call this. I hear that upright bass, and I just love it.
[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_03] Not bad. That means that you and I are once again tied 12 wins apiece. The listeners, 10. With two weeks to go? That means, listeners, if you win the next two weeks, you could tie us up. We could have a three-way tie.
[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_04] Oh, a three-way tie would bring me so much joy.
[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_03] Do we really only have two more battles left, counting today?
[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah. There's three more battles. So somebody is going to win.
[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Yeah. All right. Okay. Very big. Very exciting.
[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_04] Wouldn't it be amazing if we went into the last week of the regular season in a three-way tie? Wow.
[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_03] Can you imagine?
[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_04] I can't even imagine. Listeners, bring your A-game, please. Absolutely. And randomizer, pick the best one, I guess. I don't know.
[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_03] That's right. All right. This week, Santa Claus is coming to town. I mean... A little update on this one, Bran.
[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_04] Go ahead. So we have done this one with listeners before. What happened? I don't know. The research department didn't look into it close enough. But it's fine. There's plenty of versions. Who cares? Who cares at this point? We've been... We're going into our sixth season. So why the heck not, right?
[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_03] Why the heck not, indeed. All right. Let's get to it. Up first, let's do Santa Claus is coming to town by Mark Gadsden.
[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_00] You better watch out. You better not cry. You better not pout. I'm telling you why. Santa Claus is coming to town. He's checking it. Santa Claus is coming.
[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_04] That was a pretty fast one, Bran. That's a fast one. How about that? Santa Claus is coming to town quickly, evidently.
[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, he sure is. Look out. All right. Up next, we've got Santa Claus is coming to town by The Plague.
[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_06] You better not pout. Santa Claus is coming to town.
[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_04] Okay, Bran. This reminded me that while I was looking, there is a lot of metalcore, death metal, and just generally heavy versions of Santa Claus is coming to town. I don't know what the draw is for these artists, but I'm glad they do it. I love it. Even if they're just doing it ironically.
[00:24:08] [SPEAKER_03] You know, Scotty, we ask for people to take creative liberties and the plague did it. So kudos to them. Yeah. You know what?
[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_04] That was not on my kid's record when I was a child. I can tell you that.
[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_03] That one that you're still on the lookout for. The plague didn't make the cut.
[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_04] That's right. It had the plague on it. Yeah.
[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_03] All right. Last but not least, this is Santa Claus is coming to town by Southside Aces.
[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_01] You better not cry. You better not shout. I'm telling you why. Santa Claus is coming, coming, coming around town. I said you're on that list, but don't be sad. Unless, of course, you know you've been bad. Santa Claus is coming, coming, coming around town. He sees you when you're sleeping. He knows when you're awake.
[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_01] And knows if you've been naughty or nice. So be nice for niceness sake. You better not. And you better not. You better not. And you cry in your eyes. Santa Claus is coming around town.
[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_04] Brian, that gave me the feeling of like an impromptu New Orleans, like street corner performance. And that really spoke to me. It gave me my, the hair of my arm was standing up because I actually felt like I was standing there. There you go. Experiencing it. So really fun. It's like Jack Johnson on the bayou. Okay. I think Jack Johnson's from California, but okay. Well, he, but he was on the bayou. Oh, he was there. Okay. Yeah. He was there. Right. Right.
[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_03] Well, there you go. Three very different versions. So I'm fascinated to see who wins out on this one, Scotty, but we also got a ton of submissions.
[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_04] We did. We got listener submissions this week from Michelle Byerly, Brad Adams, Jeffrey Dale, Lance Garman, Kim Gazerak, Mary Pulte, Jack Unverfurth, Adam Parker from the Mary Britsmith podcast, and John Rice. Oh, and I also should have mentioned last week, we got a late submission from listener Kristen Williams, and I'm not sure Kristen has submitted before. So I wanted to at least shout it out. I want to encourage these people. Be like Kristen. Send in something. Even if it's late, I'm still going to say your name. It doesn't matter.
[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_04] And really, you need to get it to me by Monday night because we normally record on Tuesday morning. That's just a behind the curtain kind of thing. We could not do this without all the listeners doing the submissions. Although three weeks from now, we won't have listener submissions until January.
[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_03] That's true. It will go to a one-on-one battle for the holiday season. Only a few more weeks left. Next week is instrumental week. It's the, I'm not, not, sorry. Nope. Forgive me. Forgive me. Forgive me. You're forgiven. Next week is original Christmas music week. It's our final original week with the listeners, Scotty.
[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah, we should make it the final original of the year. That would be fantastic.
[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_03] We'll see. Okay. Maybe once a month.
[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah. So go to bandcamp.com, find an original Christmas song you like and email it to me at christmasmorningpodcast at gmail.com.
[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_03] Absolutely. All right. We did it, everybody. Congratulations to us. We still need submissions for Halloween evening and party episodes and all that stuff. So send in the goodies. Are we getting some Halloween stuff, Scotty?
[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah. I have a bunch of Halloween emails already sitting in the inbox. So that's exciting. And, uh, you know, feel cozy this week. Go get some Kringles, put them in your bathtub, roll around in them, or maybe that's just me. I don't know. No, don't do that. But you should definitely eat some Kringles.
[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_03] That's right. We'll be back next week with some more until then. Merry Christmas.
[00:28:03] [SPEAKER_04] You're about to hear some ads that help pay for our trip back and forth to the North Pole. Feel free to listen. Feel free to bail now. But either way, thanks for being here.
[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_00] Ho, ho, ho.
