[00:01:35] barrel of a footer more snow coming to Denver. Wow! And I'm looking forward to it, I want that

[00:01:39] one big wampire of a storm. It's hard for me to not be jealous, to not be envious

[00:01:47] because for the second year in a row, Greenville has received zero snow, not a flurry, not even a

[00:01:54] sniff of it. And so while I'm excited for you to get your big mid-March snow storm,

[00:02:02] I also hate you at the same time so I'm very mixed today on how I feel. Would you like it if I

[00:02:08] promised to stand outside in a speedo and take a video in the snow? You could not, you could

[00:02:14] if you could not. I won't. Maybe just a video, how about a video from inside fully closed?

[00:02:19] Okay, I will not be featured in the video at all but I also don't want to jinx it because mother

[00:02:23] nature, she's a fickle mistress you know? Yeah, she sure is but I'm sure you maybe will keep us

[00:03:37] parody songs eligible for original song battle episodes or would they be more appropriate when you

[00:03:44] battle the original song itself or just outliers that are fun but don't fit the battles at all.

[00:03:50] And yes, I understand just how quickly this could devolve into offensive songs that would never

[00:04:02] we get a lot of submissions even on the original music week and we can only pick one and so I think

[00:04:09] it would be an uphill battle to get that song selected when it's up against you know real

[00:04:14] songs that are like taking it seriously but I do like the idea of doing a parody song week. Yeah

[00:04:22] maybe and maybe not every month but occasionally sprinkling that in there instead of battling

[00:04:27] a specific song, you know we already do original music week and instrumental music week. I think

[00:04:31] doing a parody song week would be a fun a fun change of pace especially now that we're heading

[00:04:37] into like spring it could be a nice welcome. Ah that's fun. You want to do it the week after this

[00:04:43] because obviously instrumental week is coming up. Right right right yeah I'm fine with that.

[00:05:47] November. What are the lights? I was really missing out. I loved a weekly Christmas cheer.

[00:08:28] we count down till October 1st is one it's way closer than December 25th and we're just

[00:08:33] tricking ourselves. By October 1st you can walk into many stores and see Christmas stuff so we're

[00:08:39] just we have two countdowns around here. Yes yes absolutely. All right now let's do that news. Let's do it

[00:08:52] so that is March 13th and here's the news. Scotty I gotta it's really slim pickings this week

[00:09:02] in regards to Christmas news. I do want to just point that out. I noticed that when I pasted the

[00:09:07] link into the document. Wow this is this is what we're doing. Yes this is also helpful though I

[00:09:14] do feel like this is a helpful trick for people out there but a a fella from Leeds which we all

[00:09:20] know where Leeds is it's in Leeds. It's in the UK. The UK. He had his truck stolen and that's

[00:09:28] obviously you never want that to happen. Apparently I'm gonna read it as it's written here

[00:09:35] here. It was stolen after one of his employees left the car running when he nipped inside his house.

[00:09:43] Don't don't do that. You don't want you don't you don't want to do that but it got stolen and

[00:09:48] obviously this guy Paul he starts freaking out he's like what am I gonna do what am I gonna do

[00:09:53] and then it came to him two Christmas is ago his wife gifted him with one of those Apple air

[00:10:01] tags. To put in the car because they had had experiences where they get back from a flight or

[00:10:08] something and they don't remember exactly where their car is located so throw that sucker in the truck

[00:10:15] exactly where it is so he doesn't use this all the time obviously typically he knows where his

[00:10:20] truck is but in this moment a moment of panic you remembered ah the Apple air tag opened up to

[00:10:28] find my whatever app and tracked it down. Find my stolen truck and within an hour he was able to

[00:10:37] track down his truck and get it back and so one quick thinking on his parts obviously but two

[00:10:46] shout outs to his wife Angela for giving him that gift it's actually I have one on my keys and

[00:10:53] I have one on my wallet because I was always losing those two things and it's nice I could put

[00:10:59] it up on my phone I can make it make a little ding so if it's like they've fallen anywhere I can

[00:11:04] find them easily. I have not thought about putting them in a car though because you know I don't

[00:11:10] really think about my car getting stolen but not a bad idea not a bad investment I would say

[00:11:15] and so there you go sometimes those little tiny gifts that you give or get at Christmas time can

[00:11:22] be the deciding factor on whether or not you find your stolen truck or not so there you go a little

[00:11:27] story for you today and as a married fellow I can tell you he's never going to hear the end of this

[00:11:32] one every argument that comes up well I'm the one that put the thing in your car that found your stolen

[00:11:37] truck that's right without me wouldn't have your truck not yet so basically I gave you a truck

[00:11:42] for Christmas if you really think about it was there any info on who stole the truck was it a

[00:11:47] certain green hairy fellow I have a feeling that the Grinch maybe if it wasn't him he at least

[00:11:54] had something to do with it he did the car theft yes absolutely no he's learned his lesson Scotty

[00:17:50] tunes is reggae christmas songs are almost always fantastic yes there's something about it that

[00:17:57] lends itself well to the beat and the style of reggae music and it's very rare that i find one

[00:18:03] i don't like one it's almost like this really nice contrast because you have this this music that

[00:18:09] is so often associated with winter and then you have this music that is so often associated with

[00:18:14] the island in summer and it's kind of like this nice combination they they work really well with each

[00:18:21] other and so i liked it yeah reggae music is very joyful yeah and i think it just works and that one

[00:18:27] obviously did that one got 48.6% of the vote and uh the listeners brought that is that correct
