[00:01:33] The first email today is from elizabeth nelson the subject line was you were wrong

[00:01:40] Which is always fun to get that's always good. That's always good

[00:01:44] Yeah, I saw that on my phone and I said I need to open this on my laptop and read it because this sounds like a serious email

[00:01:50] Brian all right the email says hello scottie when you were talking about the music winning for instrumental week

[00:01:56] You said it was zydeco music. It was not it was new orland style jazz

[00:02:01] Which is dixieland jazz the way to think about it is zydeco is the country music of louisiana

[00:02:07] Well, dixieland is the city music

[00:02:10] I did say in my defense that I might be wrong and I did invite people to write in and tell me I was wrong

[00:02:15] So thank you elizabeth. Elizabeth is wonderful and I know she's just poking a little fun at me

[00:02:20] But neat I learned something challenge accepted. She said yeah, that's interesting

[00:02:24] I would have no idea like what is that even so new orland's

[00:02:31] Zydeco is country. I you know, I would have

[00:02:34] Probably flip flopped it in my mind. Yeah, I had it messed up

[00:02:39] So I probably should confirm my sources before I start not a big new orland's music fans out there in colorado

[00:02:47] Huh? No, but when I go to disney world. I like that. Dixieland jazz

[00:02:50] There you go. Okay the other email from lehodo. He says I heard lin's email

[00:02:55] Concerning all I want for christmas is you he's referencing the one from the party episode last week

[00:03:00] Remember the one where she told me I was a horrible person for not liking all I want for christmas is you because her

[00:03:06] Brother used it as his wedding vows. I recall he says it reminded me of my own personal story with that song

[00:03:12] When my college buddy eric and his wife mandy found out they were expecting their first child

[00:03:17] This song was playing on the radio

[00:03:19] It has since become their favorite christmas song and they sing it to the child as a lullaby often. Oh come on

[00:03:26] Uh, so when I hear this song, I instantly think of eric and mandy lorian as this is the way they celebrate the birth of their child

[00:03:33] Okay, very nice

[00:03:35] I think the point here is the point is scott scott hates love and he hates babies

[00:03:40] That's the moral of the story

[00:03:41] Absolutely, but going further if you have a personal connection with a song any song it can hit differently

[00:03:48] I totally get that and I never said that I still don't like the song

[00:03:52] I can't believe you hate kids. I know they're the worst. That's tough

[00:03:56] Okay, I have one more thing to discuss here brandon. I need an executive opinion and you're the closest executive

[00:04:03] I put the call out and said hey if you use a christmas mug send in a photo

[00:04:08] I'd love to see it. Yes, I remember okay too many people have done this

[00:04:12] And I don't know what to do with them because I can't put them on the pod. What am I going to do to scroll?

[00:04:16] Okay, this mug is round and it has a Santa face that does not work

[00:04:20] This is an audio medium. So I'm thinking that I'll just like every day

[00:05:47] I love that and I love that you left that as the review. I think that's really fun because now people that come back

[00:08:54] Uh scott you might remember a couple of years ago. There was a smash

[00:09:03] Hit over at the hallmark channel starring a few hunky fellas

[00:09:08] Uh, tyler hinds paul camel andrew walker called three wise men and a baby. I don't know

[00:09:12] Yeah, I tried to uh be the guest host on that episode and you told me to get bent get bent

[00:09:17] Not your exact words, but that was the sentiment. Please continue. Yes

[00:09:21] Um, well they're back for more they have announced that

[00:09:27] During this year's countdown to christmas during the holiday season

[00:09:30] They are going to be putting out a sequel called three wiser men and a boy

[00:09:36] A name that I wish they would have spent some more time, you know

[00:09:39] Figure it out because I don't love it. So uh, listen, it's uh, it's 458 on a friday

[00:09:44] We got to come up with a name. Who's got an idea three wiser men and a good enough. Let's go home. Yeah

[00:09:49] Yeah, I don't I don't really know what's going on there, but uh, what what what can you do and everybody's very happy

[00:09:55] They've posted some pictures of them on set and it's all sorts of good stuff

[00:10:00] Um, this is uh, you know the original movie aired back in 2022

[00:10:06] And it drew 3.6 million viewers to the premiere making it the most said it was the highest rated of that year

[00:10:12] Yeah, it was the most watched of that year by like not a ton, but uh, you know by a little bit and so

[00:10:16] Um, I think my wife accounts for like 90 percent of that viewing audience right there. She's watched it so many times

[00:10:22] I don't know if that's how viewing audiences work exactly, but

[00:10:26] Uh, we'll we'll roll with it. She doesn't accept cookies. So I don't know. Yes. Um, the little log line here is

[00:10:33] The movie kicks off when the director of luke's played by andrew walker

[00:10:37] His son thomas

[00:10:39] The school holiday musical steps down desperate to make his son's stage dreams come true

[00:10:45] Luke en lists the help of his brothers

[00:10:48] Taylor played by tyler and steven played by paul

[00:10:51] Uh, meanwhile the trio grapple with their own feelings about their mom's new boyfriend and true brinner fashion

[00:10:59] They're in for a christmas

[00:11:01] They'll never forget

[00:11:03] Of course the movie is just like the first one. It's going to be written in tandem

[00:11:08] with paul cambell and kimberley sus dad

[00:11:11] Which is wonderful and i'm uh, you know, i'm sequels are hard

[00:11:17] I get a little nervous

[00:11:19] But um, you know, we'll see how it we'll see how it turns out. I'm never upset

[00:11:23] You know watching those three knuckleheads run around and have some fun

[00:11:26] So I think at the very least it's going to be fun. Will it be good? Will it be great?

[00:11:31] Time will tell but at least we know it's going to be fun

[00:11:34] Even if it's only 66 percent as good as the original it's still better than some of the other crops

[00:11:39] So i'm looking forward to it and I love those actors. They're great. I don't watch a lot of hallmark movies that one

[00:11:44] I have sat down on the couch while my wife is watching it in reruns and i've watched it a couple times

[00:11:49] I really enjoy it. It was a fun movie

[00:11:51] It says it's filming now if we stop by on the way home from the north pole today, brand

[00:24:02] Uh, anyway, it there was one that I really liked and I hope nobody else finds it. Um, scottie
