[00:00:51] I had to mow my lawn for the first time this week and that does not make me feel Christmasy

[00:00:56] That makes me feel summery, you know man when it's you gets to late April and you're still getting snow

[00:01:01] That is watering your lawn

[00:01:04] You know it grows faster than you anticipate I imagine there's snow in the forecast this week for Denver

[00:01:09] What like flurries it's pretty much over don't worry

[00:01:13] Scott Scott Scott Scott but when I went to Home Depot to get apart for my mower

[00:01:18] There was no Christmas out and I thought you guys don't know what you're doing. Yeah, that's exactly right

[00:01:23] I think if you're not putting out your Christmas stuff at May, I don't have enough time to consider

[00:01:30] So I will say I I think it was last week or even this week

[00:01:36] I don't remember I

[00:01:37] Pulled into my driveway and I looked up at my roof and I went I think I'm gonna do something new this year

[00:01:42] Okay, so I'm already thinking I'm already thinking Scotty and that takes time to plan it does it does my partner on

[00:01:49] Tinseltoons Dwayne he plans year-round for his Christmas display

[00:01:53] So if you need me to come out to Greenville and climb on your roof you let me know

[00:01:57] I would love for you to come. I would love to decorate my house with you

[00:01:59] Yeah, that would be a lot of fun

[00:02:01] I'm gonna be there in July for Bramble Fest. It might be a little bit early feels a little early

[00:02:05] But I don't know I mean some you can't beggars can't be cheesers

[00:02:08] I will say though like are you okay with heights? Like what are your thoughts there me and heights aren't best friends

[00:02:15] But I'm not scared of it. I can climb on your roof. That doesn't bother me. Okay. All right

[00:02:52] Purple buddy the elf costume from the movie elf. Okay. Okay wonderful. I recall this

[00:02:59] Yes, the first emails from David Hatfield and he said at the Castle Noel Museum

[00:03:03] They said they don't know for sure why the hockey scene was deleted

[00:03:07] But they think it was because buddy played very hard and rough with the other elves and they were flying around and getting hurt

[00:03:13] It was out of character for them. So they think that's why it didn't make it. Have you ever heard that theory?

[00:03:19] I've not heard that theory. It does make sense

[00:03:21] But do we know why because it's hockey it's purple no, but I have another email that may explain that part

[00:03:28] Okay, great. This is from Coraline Hitchmoth. She says hello

[00:03:32] I enjoy your podcast very much and it helps me start my day on the April Christmas Party episode

[00:03:37] You talked about the deleted elf scene where he's playing hockey in a purple coat in the Netflix documentary the movies that made us

[00:03:44] They explained the original making of the movie had buddy in a purple suit

[00:03:48] But there were trademark complaints that it looked too much like the elf and Rudolph so they changed the color to green instead

[00:03:54] I highly suggest you watch that episode have a great Christmas morning

[00:03:59] So that doesn't say why the scene would have been cut, but we have more background information about the whole thing

[00:04:03] That's interesting. So I have watched that and so I'm good, you know good on me for just forgetting things that I've seen

[00:04:10] I'm not very good at remembering things, but it is great

[00:04:14] It is a really fun watch that whole series on

[00:04:18] Some of these Chris there's a home alone episode as well, which is really fun

[00:04:22] Yeah, that tracks. So yeah, if I recall correctly it was a long shoot

[00:04:26] So I guess maybe they shot maybe the that scene maybe it was one of the first ones they shot and they said oh

[00:04:36] I like that documentary series Christmas through the decades. I'm sure you watch that

[00:04:41] Yeah, and they were what was that like the 60 70s 80s and 90s? Maybe I don't remember the four decades

[00:04:46] I think there were four parts to it boy. It was fun to watch all those toys throughout the years. Yeah, absolutely

[00:04:52] I love the toys. How we doing in the review department? We're hanging out still Scotty at

[00:04:59] 247 or whatever it is that we're at we didn't get a new one is what I'm saying

[00:05:03] But okay through the power of the website chartable

[00:05:07] I am able to see the reviews from not just the United States for from around the world and so

[00:05:13] Those kind of come in randomly and I don't always see them

[00:05:16] And so I did find one that passed me by

[00:08:07] All I recall from last week is that you were sick and the deck the Hallmark show was in the shambles

[00:08:12] Because you weren't there shambles, but on this show. I was I was not quite sick. That's true

[00:08:17] You were just about getting sick. I believe it was just about getting sick

[00:08:21] Yes, I had the the Hallmark news about the three wiser men and a boy or whatever

[00:08:26] Oh, yeah, yeah, that's right

[00:08:27] This news is kind of Hallmark adjacent because the first round of

[00:08:32] Celebrity guests have been announced for this year's Christmas con event

[00:08:36] that is happening in

[00:08:38] Jezi Christmas capital of the world and there are a lot of the

[00:08:44] Normal stars now if you've never been to a Christmas con

[00:08:47] I have never it is a convention of sorts where you get to go and

[00:08:53] basically meet

[00:08:54] Celebrities that are in these made-for-tv movies

[00:08:58] Across different networks Christmas movies though, right?

[00:09:02] The rom-coms the hallmarks those correct and there's some Christmas activities

[00:09:06] But it's really about meeting the people that are in these movies. Yeah, Lacey Shabare Tyler Hines Andrew Walker Paul Campbell

[00:09:13] Some names that we have become familiar with at this annual event, but some newcomers this year

[00:09:20] Have also been announced including Michael Rady

[00:09:24] Travis Van Winkle Steven Hazar and some other folks that have not yet

[00:09:30] Been at one of these conventions will be there this year and this is just the first round of

[00:09:35] Celebrity announcements. They will add some more in the coming months

[00:09:39] But I'm excited, you know, I love Michael Rady

[00:09:41] I we've we've talked to Travis Van Winkle before over on deck the Hallmark and so it's always good to see

[00:09:49] To see new people added to events like this

[00:09:52] But I'm excited to actually see some of these people in person that I have had the joy of meeting

[00:09:58] Over on deck the Hallmark and I think it'll be a good time

[00:10:00] And you know that the Hallmark will be there crossing our fingers hopefully this year will make it up there and so
