[00:00:02] This is a Bramble Jam Podcast
[00:00:05] Live from the North Pole, it's time for Christmas Morning
[00:00:17] The Daily Show where every day is Christmas
[00:00:22] Here are your hosts, Bram and Scott
[00:00:28] Well hello everybody and welcome to another episode of Christmas Morning
[00:00:38] It is your good friend, Bram, and as usual I am here with my good friend, Scotty Scotty
[00:00:45] Merry Christmas
[00:00:46] Merry Christmas, Brandon, happy August
[00:00:49] Happy August to you, my friend, this is very exciting
[00:00:52] Was it August last week or were we just at the end of July? I can't remember
[00:00:57] We were just at the last day of July, yes so this is our first August episode
[00:01:02] This is the last tough month for a Christmas lover
[00:01:05] You think so?
[00:01:06] There's a lot of heat for the end of summer, but once we hit those Burr months
[00:01:11] It's all downhill from there and I'm excited
[00:01:14] And September is when the 100 day mark happens as well which is always an exciting day
[00:01:20] Oh good point
[00:01:21] We're in August, let's not try to breeze past it, let's just try to sit in it
[00:01:26] And enjoy the process Scotty
[00:01:28] So I have friends that are in town this week and they wanted to go to Pike's Peak yesterday
[00:01:34] So I took them up there, 14,000 feet, it's pretty high
[00:01:38] 40 degrees up there
[00:01:40] I was hoping I was going to see snow
[00:01:42] Did you?
[00:01:43] No, it was a little too warm, there was a thunderstorm and that was pretty cool
[00:01:45] But I did go to the gift shop, I saw some Christmas ornaments so it kind of put me in the mood a little bit
[00:01:50] There you go, that's not bad
[00:01:52] It was great, not bad at all
[00:01:53] Scotty, I'm looking over there at the mailbox and I feel like it is, it's popping
[00:01:59] It looks pretty full
[00:02:00] It's wriggling again like there are worms, no it's gross
[00:02:03] Yeah, let's not say that, I will just say it looks very big
[00:02:06] It's full of cute puppies
[00:02:07] It also looks like there is a lot of pictures are falling out of it which is weird
[00:02:12] Digital pictures, yes, let's open up that mail bag
[00:02:15] Letters, we get letters, we get stacks, stacks, stacks of letters
[00:02:22] I have an email from David Hatfield, our living Santa
[00:02:26] He says recently my wife and youngest daughter drove over to Niagara Falls
[00:02:30] It's only a five hour trip from where we live in Ohio and it was amazing
[00:02:33] That was the first time we had been there
[00:02:35] Of course, we had to go full tourist and hit the gift shops
[00:02:38] Being a Christmas morning person I had to get very specific souvenirs
[00:02:41] We are going back next year and this time we'll go to the Canadian side
[00:02:45] There is a year round Christmas store on that side
[00:02:48] And he sent us some pictures here, Bran, of these cute little ornaments that he picked up
[00:02:52] Yes, I really love the Santa and Mrs. Claus that are wearing the Niagara Falls ponchos
[00:03:00] I think that's very cute
[00:03:02] The idea of Santa and Mrs. Claus being tourists and taking the little fairings by the falls is quite the image
[00:03:10] But still wearing their full regalia at the same time because that hat absorbs water
[00:03:16] Yeah, it does, it's a mess
[00:03:17] I think of the ornaments they're all very nice, I think those are my favorite
[00:03:21] Those are very cute, I'll post them on our Instagram
[00:03:23] Thanks for sending David
[00:03:24] What's that Instagram again, Scotty?
[00:03:26] At Xmas Morning Pod
[00:03:28] How about that?
[00:03:29] How about it?
[00:03:30] Look at us being social, we're influencers
[00:03:33] I have an email from Janice Gollner who says
[00:03:35] This past week you were talking about the Home Alone House being for sale
[00:03:39] And saying they should remodel it and do tours
[00:03:42] Well, they have a model they can follow
[00:03:44] This is just what someone did to the Christmas story house
[00:03:47] My family and I visited in Cleveland, Ohio on a recent trip
[00:03:50] It was a blast! Memorabilia, great photo opportunities, good tour guides
[00:03:55] And Christmas spirit all around
[00:03:57] My daughter loved it and it started getting us excited for the upcoming season
[00:04:00] I've attached a few photos, hope this finds you well
[00:04:03] And carrying on the Christmas in July spirit into August
[00:04:06] These photos are cool, Brandon
[00:04:08] I didn't know that they had memorabilia there
[00:04:10] Oh really? No, I feel like Janice isn't the first one of our listeners to mention going there
[00:04:15] But I could be wrong
[00:04:16] I definitely knew that it was a thing that they have made it into a replica of the house
[00:04:23] And you're right, if Home Alone did this and they did it right
[00:04:27] They got some memorabilia, they made it look like it does in the movies
[00:04:31] I think it could be a successful model
[00:04:33] You just have to deal with the fact that, you know, there's neighbors
[00:04:36] They might not dig it, they might not like it, but whatever
[00:04:39] I really like one of the photos here
[00:04:41] It has a photo of Ralphie and Flash Gordon
[00:04:44] Which is a deleted scene from the movie
[00:04:47] That as far as we know does not exist on film anywhere
[00:04:51] It's completely lost, and that's such a bummer
[00:04:54] Where'd the picture come from though?
[00:04:56] That's a great question, I don't know
[00:04:57] If anybody knows more backstory about the Flash Gordon piece of a Christmas story
[00:05:03] Send it in, I want to collect some of the information there
[00:05:06] All I know is it was one of Ralphie's like Daydream kind of things
[00:05:10] Like remember he was going to have his red rider gun and all the great things
[00:05:13] He was going to do with it
[00:05:14] One of them was to help Flash Gordon on another planet
[00:05:17] I'm interested in if the like the outfits that they have on display
[00:05:23] If those are authentic or just, you know, replicas that they found
[00:05:28] They look it though, don't they?
[00:05:30] Yeah, my only thought though is like the movie wasn't a smash hit
[00:05:34] When it premiered, and so I don't know how
[00:05:38] You know, nowadays everything is kept, nothing is thrown away
[00:05:42] And I would love for it to be real
[00:05:45] I just don't know if it is or not
[00:05:46] That's all I'm asking, I'm just asking the questions
[00:05:48] They look very real
[00:05:50] I'm seeing Ralphie's pajamas and his sweater and his coat
[00:05:54] And even the mailbox that he's opening looking for his decoder ring
[00:05:57] So I don't know
[00:05:58] I'm going to go with the assumption that it's real
[00:06:00] Because boy do they look real
[00:06:02] Be sure to drink your oval tea
[00:06:05] A crummy commercial?
[00:06:06] Nah
[00:06:07] I have an email here from Nicholas Linsman who this is not a crummy commercial
[00:06:11] Merry Christmas fellas
[00:06:12] I figured I'd share this because it was exciting to accidentally find in the wild
[00:06:16] I was at a local Meyer grocery store to grab some leaf bags for my lawn
[00:06:20] And in doing so, I came across this
[00:06:22] On the very top of the outdoor garden section
[00:06:24] I noticed a tree, Christmas ornaments
[00:06:27] And what looks to be a random Christmas box of stuff
[00:06:30] And possibly ornament storage case above
[00:06:32] Needless to say this was awesome as I was actually looking for Christmas decor
[00:06:36] But now it's in my head to look for
[00:06:38] Even if I have to go out of my way in a store to do so
[00:06:40] So what he's got a photo here of, Brandon
[00:06:42] Is like the top of the rack in the store
[00:06:45] Has, it's still packaged like it's been shipped from
[00:06:48] You know some kind of warehouse or you know whatever
[00:06:50] It's in a staged place ready to come down and be put out
[00:06:54] I do the same thing at Lowe's
[00:06:56] I start looking up and right now at Lowe's
[00:06:59] You'll start seeing above the section where they put, I don't know, lawn chairs
[00:07:03] Yeah, like the gardening stuff
[00:07:05] Yeah, the gardening stuff
[00:07:07] That it's empty and it looks like any day now
[00:07:10] It's going to get started to be filled with cardboard boxes of trees and stuff
[00:07:14] I could be there handing out cookies to the people loading it
[00:07:17] Because it makes me so excited to see it
[00:07:19] So Nick, thank you for this
[00:07:21] And everybody start being on the lookout for Christmas stuff
[00:07:23] This is the best time of year for surprise Christmas lovers
[00:07:27] Because you don't know if you're going to find it or not
[00:07:30] And I'm starting to think about it, Scotty
[00:07:32] I'm starting to think about my house and the lights
[00:07:35] Literally this past weekend
[00:07:37] I was talking with my wife about it
[00:07:39] Because I don't know if you, I feel like you know this
[00:07:42] We've typically on the outside have decorated it with white lights
[00:07:47] Okay
[00:07:48] And for the longest time that's just the way that it's been
[00:07:51] Because I could go either way but it was my wife's preference
[00:07:54] But she last year she was like
[00:07:57] I think I want to switch to color lights
[00:07:59] Which made me very excited
[00:08:01] It's a new project, new things
[00:08:04] But I've had a hard time obviously with the LED lights
[00:08:09] Make it like having that vintage feel
[00:08:11] We've talked about True Tone on the podcast
[00:08:13] And those lights look so good
[00:08:15] Oh those super expensive ones, True Tones
[00:08:17] Worth the sale guys
[00:08:19] So I'm looking at the True Tone website
[00:08:23] And everything I think is sold out from last season
[00:08:25] They haven't restocked yet
[00:08:26] So I'm waiting to see when that happens
[00:08:28] But there's a couple of different brands on Amazon
[00:08:32] That the comments say that they look like vintage lights
[00:08:35] So I'm gonna buy a couple of them
[00:08:38] See which ones look the best
[00:08:40] And I don't know, well I'll keep you posted
[00:08:42] On how things are evolving
[00:08:43] This is obviously a big undertaking
[00:08:45] I'm probably not going to be able to do everything
[00:08:47] I want to this year
[00:08:48] Just financially speaking
[00:08:50] Those lights are expensive
[00:08:51] But the big old vintage lights man
[00:08:54] That's what I want, that's what I want to do
[00:08:56] So we'll see what happens
[00:08:57] But I'm excited that I will soon be able to see these things
[00:09:01] In the store because it's easier to just see it
[00:09:05] Rather than like I guess I'll buy one from Amazon
[00:09:07] If it doesn't look how I want it I'll return it
[00:09:09] That's a whole process
[00:09:10] Just being able to go to Lowe's or Home Depot
[00:09:12] And see the bulbs
[00:09:13] Because they got them out and glowing and whatnot
[00:09:15] That will make it a lot easier on me
[00:09:17] Alright buddy, I'll start keeping my eyes peeled for you
[00:09:20] Okay
[00:09:21] Thanks pal
[00:09:22] And then the last email
[00:09:23] It's a quick one from Ken
[00:09:24] From the Christmas Ween YouTube channel
[00:09:26] That we mentioned last week
[00:09:27] Do you remember that brand?
[00:09:28] Yes I remember
[00:09:29] And he said that he was expecting a Santa suit
[00:09:32] From Timu at any moment
[00:09:33] Or Temu, how, how, where were you?
[00:09:35] Timu, I mean I say Timu but
[00:09:37] I don't know they said it differently in the commercial
[00:09:38] Than I was saying anyway
[00:09:39] Timu, Temu
[00:09:40] Doesn't matter, doesn't matter
[00:09:41] Whatever
[00:09:42] He sent a photo and said
[00:09:43] Here's the photo of the Santa suit
[00:09:44] It's much better than I expected
[00:09:46] I have to admit brand, not bad
[00:09:48] It looks great
[00:09:50] Now we don't know how heavy it is
[00:09:52] But you know it's not like you have to
[00:09:54] Just pop off the elements and stuff
[00:09:56] You're not flying in a sleigh around the world
[00:09:58] You know you just
[00:09:59] Just wearing it for the lulls
[00:10:01] And I think it looks great
[00:10:02] So thanks for sending that in Ken
[00:10:04] And the beard Ken
[00:10:05] The beard is nice
[00:10:07] That's a nice long beard
[00:10:08] I gotta say
[00:10:09] I gotta say very impressed by this suit
[00:10:11] And that's the mail bag for this week brand
[00:10:13] I got one new review this week
[00:10:15] Scotty, this is from Goopy Doop
[00:10:17] Left a review
[00:10:19] And the title of the review is confusing to me
[00:10:22] That's whatever
[00:10:23] Spectacular, give me 14 more
[00:10:26] 14 what?
[00:10:27] Episodes?
[00:10:28] I don't know
[00:10:29] And then the rest of the review
[00:10:31] I guess makes a little bit more sense
[00:10:33] My sister Christina loves your podcast
[00:10:35] And told me to review
[00:10:36] Smiley face
[00:10:37] And that's how you do it
[00:10:39] Be like Christina
[00:10:40] Tell all your friends and your family
[00:10:42] What?
[00:10:43] I would love it if Goopy Doop
[00:10:44] Would listen to the show
[00:10:45] That'd be great
[00:10:46] But at the very least
[00:10:47] Leave a review
[00:10:48] That was great
[00:10:49] Personal message here for Christina
[00:10:51] Thank you
[00:10:52] Goopy doops, thank you
[00:10:53] Very good stuff
[00:10:54] You got a joke for us, Scotty?
[00:10:55] Okay, so not only do I have a joke
[00:10:58] Not only do I have a listener's supply joke
[00:11:01] Okay
[00:11:02] I have a joke recorded
[00:11:05] By our good friend Shannon
[00:11:07] Oh, Shannon, it's not even the 25th
[00:11:10] It's not
[00:11:11] Are you ready for this?
[00:11:12] I'm ready
[00:11:13] Here we go
[00:11:14] Where do mermaids keep their Christmas gifts?
[00:11:17] Under the tree
[00:11:20] That's great
[00:11:21] That's funny
[00:11:22] That was submitted by Kristen Lowe
[00:11:23] She didn't want to do the singing
[00:11:24] So she asked Shannon to do it
[00:11:26] And of course Shannon did
[00:11:27] Because she's wonderful
[00:11:28] I love that
[00:11:29] That's funny
[00:11:30] Where do mermaids keep their Christmas gifts?
[00:11:31] That's nice
[00:11:32] That's nice
[00:11:33] I like that a lot
[00:11:34] That's very funny
[00:11:35] Let's do the countdown
[00:11:39] 140 days until Christmas
[00:11:44] 140
[00:11:46] 140
[00:11:47] A nice round number, Scotty
[00:11:49] I know you like those round numbers
[00:11:50] Round number for that
[00:11:51] And also 20 weeks
[00:11:53] A nice round number there as well
[00:11:55] Let's go
[00:11:57] Isn't that exciting?
[00:11:58] We're really on the edge of it, aren't we?
[00:12:01] To say I'm thrilled would be an understatement, Scotty
[00:12:04] I'm just...
[00:12:05] I'm totally geeking out right now
[00:12:07] And even the grumpy Gus is out there
[00:12:09] Like our friend Daniel
[00:12:11] They have to start relenting
[00:12:13] Because we're gonna hit...
[00:12:14] I don't think he's gonna start relenting
[00:12:15] Obviously not really
[00:12:16] But the muggles will start getting on board with this
[00:12:21] That's right
[00:12:22] Speaking of...
[00:12:23] Hold on
[00:12:24] Hold on
[00:12:25] It's only 55 days until October 1st
[00:12:29] Boy, that is nice
[00:12:32] That's nice
[00:12:33] Scotty, I got some news if you want it
[00:12:35] I sure do
[00:12:36] But let me find that news music
[00:12:38] It's buried here under the mailbag
[00:12:39] Oh, I found it
[00:12:40] So that is August 7th
[00:12:48] Here's the news
[00:12:50] Scotty, I know your ears are gonna perk up
[00:12:53] You're gonna be excited about the news today
[00:12:55] Mariah Carey is back in the news
[00:12:58] She's gonna be celebrating the 30th anniversary
[00:13:03] Of her album, Merry Christmas
[00:13:06] By going on tour
[00:13:08] The holiday tour
[00:13:09] She's back
[00:13:10] Tour?
[00:13:11] Going on a tour again?
[00:13:12] She's going on tour
[00:13:13] She's going on tour
[00:13:14] She says it's not time yet
[00:13:16] But I am...
[00:13:18] Hey, shove off, shove off Scotty
[00:13:21] She's saying it's not time yet
[00:13:23] But I have exciting news
[00:13:25] And she's going on the tour
[00:13:27] It's a 20-day...
[00:13:28] So they defrosted her just a little bit early here
[00:13:31] For the news
[00:13:32] It's a little bit of a defrost
[00:13:34] It is a 20-day trek
[00:13:36] That will kick off on November 6th
[00:13:38] Which is earlier than Mannheim's steamroller went on tour
[00:13:41] And they're doing like quadruple the city that she's doing
[00:13:46] 20-day starting November 6th
[00:13:48] Mannheim's steamroller
[00:13:49] A lot more mouths to feed there
[00:13:51] That's true
[00:13:52] That's right
[00:13:53] 20-day starting November 6th in California
[00:13:55] Stops are going obviously in all the big cities
[00:13:58] Los Angeles, Atlanta, D.C., Boston
[00:14:00] And wrapping things up on December 17th
[00:14:03] In New York City
[00:14:04] Well, in Brooklyn
[00:14:05] At the Barclay Center
[00:14:06] Couldn't get Madison Square Garden
[00:14:08] Sorry, pal
[00:14:09] It's very exciting for people that are
[00:14:12] Mariah Carey stands
[00:14:14] And there is something about Mariah Carey
[00:14:17] That just works during the holiday season
[00:14:20] And she's once again going on tour
[00:14:22] Which is very, very exciting
[00:14:24] Very exciting
[00:14:25] It is really exciting
[00:14:26] She is not going to be in Colorado at all, Scotty
[00:14:30] So I guess you're safe
[00:14:32] You're safe
[00:14:33] It's the high altitude
[00:14:34] It's tough for people
[00:14:35] You know, I want to make sure that I'm clear on this
[00:14:38] Because I give Mariah Carey a hard time
[00:14:40] There's nothing wrong with her song
[00:14:42] The song is a good song
[00:14:43] It's just overplayed in my opinion
[00:14:45] She also seems like a lovely person
[00:14:47] And I really love that she doesn't take herself too seriously
[00:14:51] And you know, posts those videos on Halloween night
[00:14:54] You know, what was it like coming out of the ocean
[00:14:56] Or you know, thawing out of a block of ice
[00:14:59] And I think it's funny
[00:15:00] So, you know, I got some real flack
[00:15:02] For dissing on Michael Buble
[00:15:04] So, I mean, I got my hands full over on that site
[00:15:07] So I don't want the Mariah Carey fans
[00:15:09] Coming at me from my flank
[00:15:11] And real quick, there's a good reason she's going back out there
[00:15:14] As you remember, she went last year with the tour
[00:15:16] And she did 15 dates
[00:15:17] And it was her best concert attendance in a quarter century
[00:15:21] Grossing almost $30 million in selling 214,000 tickets
[00:15:27] So
[00:15:28] I wish we could make $30 million for 15 episodes
[00:15:31] Wouldn't that be nice?
[00:15:32] Yeah, that's great
[00:15:33] We're, uh, yeah
[00:15:34] Hey, listen, maybe if we go...
[00:15:35] You never know
[00:15:36] If we go daily October 1st
[00:15:38] Probably not
[00:15:39] You never know
[00:15:40] Uh, let's take a quick break
[00:15:41] We'll come back
[00:15:42] And we will, uh, get to the TV listings
[00:15:44] In this week's battle here on Christmas Morning
[00:15:46] Welcome back everybody
[00:15:52] We are so excited
[00:15:54] It is August
[00:15:56] Christmas in July has come to an end

[00:18:25] Thank you TV Scotty
[00:18:27] It is time to get to the Christmas
[00:18:29] Oh, you're quite welcome
[00:18:31] There he is
[00:18:32] It is time to get to the Christmas
[00:18:35] music battle from last week
[00:18:38] It was Do You Hear What I Hear
[00:18:41] in Last Place
[00:18:43] is the version by Adam Ahuja
[00:18:48] Brian Harold brought that song
[00:18:51] and came in last place
[00:18:53] Hong Kong? Brian Harold?
[00:18:55] Good to hear from you buddy
[00:18:56] I came in last place
[00:18:58] and I think he deserves it
[00:19:00] I liked the song though
[00:19:01] It had a different feel to it
[00:19:03] and it had this kind of like light vibe to it
[00:19:05] so thanks for doing that Brian, I liked it
[00:19:07] In second place
[00:19:09] it is, we're doing Do You Hear What I Hear
[00:19:11] by The Murderers
[00:19:13] The best band name of the week for sure
[00:19:16] For sure, a heavy version though
[00:19:18] Yeah
[00:19:19] You know no surprise
[00:19:21] I told you I did that Tensiltunes episode on Heavy Metal
[00:19:23] Not peeking the charts
[00:19:25] like some of the other episodes are
[00:19:27] but also this version wouldn't have even made that episode
[00:19:31] This isn't heavy enough for Heavy Metal
[00:19:33] It's gonna be a little too heavy for rock
[00:19:35] I Do You Hear What I Hear
[00:19:38] Hey, that was really good
[00:19:40] Thank you
[00:19:42] Which means in first place, you brought that by the way
[00:19:44] Scotty
[00:19:45] Which means in first place, your boys back
[00:19:48] still automatic
[00:19:50] I was so excited when I pulled this up
[00:19:52] because I don't follow the listings day to day
[00:19:55] It's a kind of a surprise for me
[00:19:57] it's a little Christmas present to open it up
[00:19:59] and I saw it and I said, oh my boys back
[00:20:01] And this is an awesome version
[00:20:03] This version is so cool, Brandon
[00:20:05] Yeah, this version is awesome
[00:20:07] and I'm also happy Scotty because it wasn't a runaway
[00:20:10] I checked a few days ago and I wasn't winning
[00:20:13] So don't call it a comeback
[00:20:15] I love this because it's punk
[00:20:17] but it's still a very accessible version
[00:20:19] So good, so good
[00:20:21] Great job Brandon
[00:20:22] Yeah, it's great, really good
[00:20:24] Still automatic
[00:20:25] This week a little change of pace
[00:20:27] Perhaps actually I don't know what this song sound like
[00:20:30] It's with Up on the House Top
[00:20:33] Is the song today, do you got any trivia for us Scotty?
[00:20:36] I do
[00:20:37] Up on the House Top is a Christmas song written by
[00:20:39] Benjamin Handby
[00:20:40] Nope, Handby, not Handby
[00:20:42] Handby
[00:20:43] in 1864
[00:20:45] According to William Studwell in The Christmas Carol Reader
[00:20:48] Up on the House Top is the second oldest
[00:20:50] secular Christmas song
[00:20:52] outdone only by Jingle Bells from 1857
[00:20:55] Wow
[00:20:56] It is also considered the first Euletide song
[00:20:59] to focus primarily on Santa Claus
[00:21:01] Wow
[00:21:02] Look at that history for that, that was so cool
[00:21:04] That is a great fun fact
[00:21:07] Yeah thanks, every once in a while they come out well
[00:21:09] Most of the time they do not
[00:21:11] That's crazy, that's crazy
[00:21:13] Alright, let's get to it
[00:21:14] Up First is Up on the House Top by
[00:21:17] Late Tuesday
[00:21:26] Santa grew the chimney with lots of toys
[00:21:35] All for the little ones Christmas joy
[00:21:40] Oh, we wouldn't go
[00:21:50] Oh, through the chimney with good saying
[00:22:09] I like it
[00:22:12] Bran, not what I was expecting from Up on the House Top
[00:22:15] A very emo
[00:22:17] It's emo Santa
[00:22:19] He's got the white hair going over his eye
[00:22:22] He is, listen, it's a different type of feel
[00:22:25] A very melancholy version of Up on the House Top
[00:22:28] But the thing that I do like about that
[00:22:30] Is it's completely different than anything I've ever heard
[00:22:32] It is very different
[00:22:33] I don't think I've ever heard that song
[00:22:35] Start with a minor chord
[00:22:37] Congratulations to Late Tuesday
[00:22:40] For trying something new
[00:22:42] Up Next is Up on the House Top by
[00:22:44] Sam Johnson Trio
[00:22:46] That is a cool version right there
[00:23:47] Yeah, that's nice
[00:23:48] Also not what I expected
[00:23:49] I felt like I was watching the intro to
[00:23:51] Frasier or something at the beginning
[00:23:52] That's right
[00:23:53] A risky bold move bringing an instrumental
[00:23:56] Listen, sometimes you don't need the words
[00:23:59] Because the music is so good
[00:24:00] Sam Johnson Trio
[00:24:02] And lastly, this is Up on the House Top by
[00:24:05] Amanda McCarthy
[00:24:07] Lots of Christmas toys
[00:24:18] All for the chimney with good saying
[00:24:32] First comes a stocking of little bells
[00:24:37] Hold your Santa feeling well
[00:24:40] The life's a surprise
[00:24:43] One that'll open and shut her eyes
[00:24:46] Oh, how hard we would've gone
[00:24:49] With a chimney with good saying
[00:25:00] Shut her down right there
[00:25:02] I don't think we even need to put a pole out, do we, Bryn?
[00:25:04] That was good
[00:25:05] Let's go, we will put a pole out
[00:25:07] And we will see what happens
[00:25:08] Sure, everybody has different tastes
[00:25:10] I have a feeling that I know
[00:25:12] Which way it's going to go
[00:25:13] But let's see what happens
[00:25:14] Let's see what happens
[00:25:16] That's why we do this, Scotty
[00:25:18] That's right
[00:25:19] And I want to mention we got submissions
[00:25:21] This week from Lance Garmin, Aira Evans,
[00:25:23] Jack Unverforth and Joe W
[00:25:25] Thank you all for submitting
[00:25:26] Absolutely
[00:25:27] Scotty, you mentioned it just a few seconds ago
[00:25:30] But next week is second Wednesday
[00:25:32] Which means it's instrumental
[00:25:34] I'm sorry
[00:25:35] Which means it is an original Christmas music week
[00:25:38] And so dive deep into the well of Bandcamp
[00:25:41] And see what you find
[00:25:42] You know, when I go through
[00:25:44] Yesterday for example
[00:25:46] I'm looking for up on the house top
[00:25:48] If I come across albums that have songs
[00:25:51] That I've never seen the name of
[00:25:52] I usually just hit the wish list button
[00:25:54] So I don't forget it
[00:25:55] And it's like I have a better stock
[00:25:58] Of build, you know, back in the pantry
[00:26:00] Of songs here
[00:26:01] So I'm actually liking the original Christmas song
[00:26:03] Week more than I used to
[00:26:05] Look at you
[00:26:06] It's fun to do something
[00:26:07] You never know what you're going to find
[00:26:09] It's the flea market of Bandcamp
[00:26:10] So go to bandcamp.com
[00:26:12] Search for an original Christmas song
[00:26:14] However you choose to do that
[00:26:16] Find one you like and email to me
[00:26:18] At ChristmasMorningPodcast at gmail.com
[00:26:20] That's right
[00:26:21] Scotty, we did it
[00:26:22] We had a lot of fun
[00:26:23] Things are really starting to pick up
[00:26:25] Now you can feel the energy
[00:26:26] Beginning to rise
[00:26:27] In the Christmas podcasting space
[00:26:29] And that excites me
[00:26:30] And the good news is
[00:26:31] Scotty, you don't got to wait long
[00:26:32] Because we're going to be back next week
[00:26:33] With another episode
[00:26:34] That's right
[00:26:35] And if you're out there
[00:26:36] If you come across Christmas in the wild
[00:26:38] I want you to send pictures
[00:26:39] We're going to have a
[00:26:40] What do you call those
[00:26:41] A party episode coming up
[00:26:43] In a couple weeks
[00:26:44] And I have a lot of emails built up
[00:26:46] And it's going to be
[00:26:47] A lot of these
[00:26:48] Hey, I found Christmas
[00:26:49] And really cool stuff with photos
[00:26:51] So get those in now
[00:26:52] That's exciting
[00:26:53] Start thinking about it
[00:26:54] That's exciting
[00:26:55] Very excited
[00:26:56] We'll be back next week
[00:26:57] With another one until then
[00:27:08] Merry Christmas
[00:27:09] You're about to hear some ads
[00:27:10] That help pay for our trip
[00:27:11] Back and forth to the North Pole
[00:27:12] Feel free to listen
[00:27:13] Feel free to bail now
[00:27:14] But either way
[00:27:15] Thanks for being here
[00:27:16] Ho-ho-ho
